So we should be seeing (misleading) ads for it soon.

I saw the ad last night. It also means that spring is near....well it should be, anyway. It think it will be a good long while before all the snow melts and any growing is visible. Maybe it is more accurate to say that, here in the northeast, our fifth season, Mud Season is close at hand as the temperatures are going to start rising next week. What a winter!

Yeah, it's a balmy 5 degrees in my little corner of the Northeast right now. This winter has just been unending. Well, supposed to get up to 50 this week, so maybe the end is in sight.
The ad seems to show that the boats were out in the storm, or at least it was implied. I know the CM hightailed back to port before the worst hit, don't remember what the others did. I do remember they had a good week of warning, so if they were out there, it was because they chose to be.
I have become so jaded with this show it is actually depressing me.

It is only about 15 here now. 8 more inches of snow fell on Thursday here. I just keep telling myself "At least I am not in Boston". Also supposed to be in the 40's with a couple of 50 degree days all next week here. I saw on the news last night Seattle had it's warmest February in history. Who would have thought Seattle and Alaska would be warmer than the NE and Midwest? I think most of the boats made it back or took cover before the storm(if I remember right).

I read while DC is on, listening with 'half and ear', and looking up when there is something interesting. I have found that I pay full attention as little as 10 minutes of a show.

Well, here in the city once described as "Colder Than Mars" Spring is teasing us with thawing temperatures offset by gale-force northwesterlies. It's been cold enough to kill Penguins but we Winnipeggers are grimly holding on to our title of "Slurpee/Slushie Capital of the World" as we continue to wrap our frozen fingers around cups of syrup-laced snow.
I'm really trying to get excited about seeing DC again. It's like watching a Master Magician's routine after you've been told all the secrets behind his "tricks".

Gosh, I just came back from shopping and felt absolutely hot in the store. We are now at 40 degrees and I feel like I'm in a sauna. Yesterday it was -4. Awe, life in Michigan - weather is always exciting.

I just checked out the bios on the DC page and saw Scottie Hillstrand is fishing on the CM for King Crabs. It said he will probably not fish Opies. There are a few new crew members too. Elliott is back for King Crabs and Neal Hillstrand's son Phillip is on the TB. All the boats seem to have a lot of new crew members.

I just went on the official DC homepage. The Seabrooke and Scott Campbell Jr is not in the list of boats or crew bios.

I saw the ad for the upcoming season. Not surprisingly they are touting Josh's 'long journey' from deckhand to captain. Or something along those lines. I feel a headache coming on.

sciencer-Lol ! DC did the same kind special on the CM that they did on the TB and NW. They filmed it last summer during the tendering season in I think June.

I don't mind if Josh succeeds by his own hard work. It's the way Disco presents it, like crowning a new king. I loved Phil, but I truly do not want to see any more Phil footage. We've seen it a zillion times. Except for the broken prop scene...'This is bad. This is bad bad.' I don't know what it is about it, I just love that scene.

If you look at the newest DC trailer on Facebook, Jake Anderson's in a wheelhouse and it looks like the Saga
