I think the emmys are deserved. The cameramen and staff filming these things are top notch. They really do the riskiest filming in my opinion.

The cameramen are the ones that really make this show. The shots they get is outstanding and their job is dangerous.

Today, 8/16/2014, Deadliest Catch scored its first Emmy (creative arts) of 2014 for Picture Editing of the episode "Careful What You Wish For"

-Outstanding Unstructured Reality Tv Series -Cinematography -Editing
Deadliest Catch has now won the Emmy in every category it was nominated for in 2014. Awards were handed out at the Creative Arts Emmys Ceremony on 8/16/2014. It has no nominations pending for the Prime Time Emmys Ceremony on 8/25.
These wins bring Deadliest Catch's Emmy total to 13 in ten years. Congratulations and many kudos to the cameramen and editors that made those Emmys possible.
