That is low. Wonder if DC will even bother to film this year and if so, which boats. I love Sig but really don't wish to see Edgar and would love to see the TB back but understand it is for sale.

I'm guessing they will manufacture some sort of drama about someone stealing stealing someone else's quota, or listen to the woes of poor fishing running up the cost of catching such a small quota.

As to the cost per boat when the quota is low, I think it would be great to learn how that affects the bottom line of profits. People need to be educated about the cost of doing business. Heaven knows, I wish there was more reporting about the cost of raising live stock. I could never compete with the price of chicken sold in the stores. I'm fortunate that I have a customer base that can afford the price per pound of the turkeys and chickens I raise. Of course, the birds free range and are very well fed with high quatity poultry feed. The texture and taste of the meat tells the whole story which is why my customers return.

Oh bentwillow, I wish I could be one of your customers. Oftentimes I go to the market and gag when I look at the chicken -- slimy and gross and God only knows how old it is. And the thoughts of how the poor things were raised makes me want to go vegetarian.
