Hi All,
There has been very little activity on this forum for quite some time now.
Personally, I still watch the show, but it now seems so redundant most of the time that I don't feel the need to comment.
Plus I have very little inside scoop to share these days.
Unless I hear some objections in the next week or so, I am going to shut this board down for good.
If someone in interested in taking over the admin duties, I would be happy to pass them along.
It was fun while it lasted!

There are people here I will miss more than the show, but with no activity other than your own Coast Guard updates, I can understand your desicion.

I will miss people here but it seems that the interest in this show is no more. Let's be honest, the only new thing is Sig and Norway and the business with Josh. We have wanted Josh off for years now but never thought he would be fired for the reasons he was.

well for the current season and episode 23, they reverted back 15+ years, back are the graphics, back are how much each deckhand has earned in the winter season and back is the long endings as stated above by svtubamom, not much has happend past few years, besides bloodlines, sigurds new show and the failed dungeonees spinoff, the only other spinoff that ran more than 1 season was lobstermen and yes it was part of the dc family of shows. but as episodes 23 of the current season and specially winter i would loved to have watched bilikin again from season 1, as Steve took the helm on that boat otherwise, besides for a couple of years ago, it felt like this was the final season of DC, besides what i can read for Episode 24 and so its fitting also this forum shutsdown also and yes has been here multiple times over the years, problem i never got an mail from freeforums that my account has been activated here and first found through email, that this board was shutting down, that i actually had an account here |

Best of luck to you all. Best of luck to the fishermen who kept me watching for so many years. I will continue to Google the main boats to catch up from time to time. Thanks to kingcove for the inside info you shared.

well after Kingcove deleted his account here, nobody is running it anymore
so iam also signing off from here, seems like iam the only one active, coming here almost everyday

KongCove thanks for stepping up and taking over for Meri. I will miss all the nice people here but the show no longer holds my interest. I don't really care for the Sig-Norway story line. Time for DC to retire the show.
