I just heard that the Cornelia Marie is going to have a female deckhand on board for opies.
I know this because I know both her parents very well and her mom posted pictures on Facebook.
Her name is Maria Dosal. She is King Cove local that I have known since she was born. She is a good hard working young woman.
I will be interested to see how this plays out on DC.

it will be interesting......if she will work a whole season alongside the men it will be very interesting

It will be interesting to see on DC. Hope she fares better than the one that was on The Wizard a couple years back.

I enjoyed seeing her on the CM last night. She is one tough lady - I think she will make the CM more interesting - and heaven knows, the boat needs that.
