I've neglected to mention that the Kiska Sea has been tied up here in King Cove the whole time I've been here this year. I've learned that the crew is going to be here today, along with Mike's wife, and they are going to take the boat somewhere. I hope to get some time to talk with Mike while they are here. Got to chat with Mike for a few minutes. He's much more calm and relaxed than I'm used to seeing him when he has crab on board! He's had four months off, now they are coming up to take the boat back to Newport, OR for some maintenance and will be there until just before King Crab. We may meet for dinner or something while my wife and I are vacationing on the Oregon coast in September. Could it be Mike Wilson is more relaxed because his wife is on the boat?? Just a thought. haha

Another sighting... Cape Caution arrived in King Cove tonight around 830 pm. I'm sure it's not Bill running the boat. I will try to find out who is on it.

that should be a damn clue to disco to get rid of that sorry eliot. no one wants him on the show and no one wants to be around him. since the CM is back, they need to get rid of saga.

Too many people are fascinated by train wrecks - and Elliot is a train wreck. I'll bet DC will hold on to him until he dies. He generates a lot of drama - which, as we know, D.C. just loves.

Kodiak passed through here this morning looking like it just came out of the yards, although I know they just finished up tendering in Prince William Sound. Murray was running the boat today.

Incredible. What a good looking boy! And he does look like Zack. Wild Bill mentioned that he had a daughter - I wonder what she's like??

I was in Oregon on vacation last week and looked up the Kiska Sea in Newport. There was no one around, and I couldn't get close enough to get a good picture.but the boat looked really good. I did not see Mike.

Is she in really shallow water or is that just a trick of the camera angle?

If anyone is interested, one of the local women in king Cove has been posting pictures of various crab boats gearing up in King Cove for king ceab season. There are a few familiar boats. www.facebook.com/donna.e.walker.7?fref=ts

King Cove had their first crab delivery yesterday, was not a DC boat. They are booked for the reminder of the week, with no DC boats scheduled yet.
